“An Evening of Higher Consciousness” is a monthly gathering intended to unite like-minded people across America, as well as internationally, at various hotspots to celebrate, contemplate, and educate.

Each month attendees will be entertained by many of today’s hottest musical acts and inspired by talks from a variety of activists associated with the Gyalwang Drukpa.

“An Evening of Higher Consciousness” club events are set to occur once a month in 20 select cities across the United States: Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, St. Louis, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Fairfield, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix, New Orleans, Washington D.C. and Boston --with the launch on January 28 in Los Angeles. Each show in the series will be hosted by a well-known celebrity and will feature performances from nationally known artists, DJ’s and hometown headliners. Every event will shed light on local heroes making an impact and inspiring their communities. As each transformational evening comes to an end, the Gyalwang Drukpa will join via video to deliver a brief message.

The club series will culminate in September 2010 when the Gyalwang Drukpa will arrive in the United States to begin a speaking tour in the 20 chosen event cities. The tour will commence in New York City with a grand-scale concert inside the United Nations General Assembly Hall alongside the co-hosting organization, “The Model UN Kids.” Following the kick-off in New York City, the Gyalwang Drukpa will proceed to the other 19 cities that are participating in the club series.
